Why YouNick?
You pay for quality.
Not for somebody else’s logo.
Italian acetate, refined proportions and hand finishing—without a surcharge for someone else’s logo on the temple. This is YouNick.
What matters in a good frame is what remains when the logo is removed.
Material, construction, comfort and finish matter every day. A logo can increase the price, but it cannot improve the fit, strengthen the hinge or make the frame sit better. At YouNick, we refine the product first and build the story around it second.
We do not pretend to be a global fashion house.
We make eyewear that makes sense: good material, good shape and an honest price.
It began with a single pair of glasses.
Not with a business plan, but with the feeling that a well-designed frame can transform someone’s whole presence.
The story began in New York at The Limelight—a former church that became one of Manhattan nightlife’s most recognisable landmarks. Yarek left with a pair of glasses that did not feel like an incidental accessory. They brought focus to the face, added confidence and never needed to shout.
Much later, YouNick grew from that idea: an independent Polish brand focused on comfort, durability and honest design. No cheap shortcuts or decoration that lasts for one season. We create frames that wear well, age beautifully and stay with their owner for years.
When you buy YouNick, you know whose work you are wearing. It is not an anonymous catalogue design, but a series of deliberate decisions about proportion, material and detail.
Designed for everyday wear. For years.
Restrained in form and expressive where it matters. YouNick frames do not cover the face; they bring it into focus, underline it and stay with you for years.
A good frame begins with good decisions.
Before the first model existed, there were trade fairs, factories and conversations with suppliers—materials assessed in the hand, components compared side by side and decisions postponed whenever something was only “almost right”. That is how we arrived at the short list of solutions we trust.
Milan
The world’s largest optical trade fair. This is where acetate, colours, thicknesses and finishes are compared. The difference between a good material and ordinary plastic is clear as soon as you hold it.
Paris
Hinges, cores and finishes. These small elements decide whether eyewear still holds its shape after a season or begins to distort.
Sabae
The world capital of handmade frames. Here, it becomes clear that true craftsmanship often hides in details you do not notice immediately.
Poland
Design, proportions and the final decision. Every model begins with an idea in Poland and reaches the store only after many refinements.
Three things we never compromise on.
The name 36i6 comes from body temperature. It refers to the closeness of objects worn every day: you put them on in the morning, soon stop thinking about them and they simply keep doing their job.
Proportion
A frame should work with the face, not fight for attention. We design it to look natural after the first minute and after years of wear.
Material
Italian acetate and components selected for durability: depth of colour, stability of form and a satisfying weight that ordinary plastic cannot provide.
Detail
We devote the most attention to elements that photographs often miss: edges, hinges, balance and how the frame feels after a full day.
Eyewear that works with your style.

See what you receive in return.
Selected frames from our catalogue. Each is made from Italian acetate and designed for years of wear.
They buy one pair and return for another.
I previously owned glasses from a well-known brand that cost much more. These fit better and look more elegant than I expected.
From the first wear, you can tell this is not a plastic frame from a chain store. Solid and comfortable, with no looseness after six months.
I ordered online and was worried about the size. I received clear advice, and the glasses fit exactly as they should.
You choose. We take care of the rest.
